Leadership:   The Charles Schultz Philosophy
Volume 1   Number 50  Howard  Putnam

Charles Schultz, deceased,  the creator of Peanuts asked some important leadership questions.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five Miss America winners.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel prize.
5. Name the last five world series winners.

How did you do?  I failed on every one.  They are the best in their field yet, the applause dies quickly and the awards soon fade.

So try this Charles Schultz quiz.

1. List three teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through tough times.

3. Name three folks who have mentored you through life.

4. Think of five folks who you enjoy spending time with.

5. Think of three people who have made you feel appreciated.

That was a lot easier for me. The lesson:  The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money or the most  awards, They are the ones that "care" and you know them personally. Leadership at its best.
